Pecan nuts

Native to Central America and Southern North America, the pecan has a rich, full-bodied flavor thanks to its high monounsaturated fat content. Their rich taste makes them ideal for use in savory and sweet dishes (pecan pie, for example).

Like many other nuts, pecans are rich in minerals, antioxidants, fiber and vitamins that provide health benefits; for example, they lower the risk of heart disease, they ensure a healthy digestion; they lower blood pressure and have anti-cancer properties.
